AI use in patient care has jumped to 81%, mainly for data processing, record updates, and admin tasks, yet only 36% of organizations have AI-specific security. Nearly all use IoT/telehealth devices, but 96% face integration issues and 83% have had data leaks or breaches, with 45% blaming legacy IT. Mobile devices are everywhere, making data security the top IT concern. SOTI argues healthcare must move from basic MDM to holistic Enterprise Mobility Management, with integrated security, lifecycle management, and analytics to reduce downtime and protect patient data.
