The state of corporate learning and development in 2023
CYPHER Learning's survey of 4,000 workers highlights the disconnect between employees' desire for personalized, impactful training and employers' box-ticking approach to L&D. Employees value training for skill development, retention, and job satisfaction, yet 70% feel under-skilled, and over 20% haven't received training in a year. While 98% agree on training's importance, only 12% find current programs effective. Modern platforms like CYPHER’s address these gaps, offering gamification, AR/VR, and tailored learning. Bridging the divide between executive perceptions and employee needs is essential for transforming training into a competitive advantage.
