VoNR assurance introduces significant challenges for communications service providers due to the complexity of multi-domain, multi-vendor network environments and the large number of interfaces and protocols involved. Traditional siloed monitoring tools limit end-to-end visibility across key domains such as IMS, the 5G core, access networks, and legacy systems like 4G and circuit‑switched infrastructure used for call fallback. This fragmented view makes it harder to identify and resolve issues affecting voice services. In addition, radio conditions such as coverage quality and interference play a critical role in VoNR quality, directly impacting service reliability and customer experience across modern 5G networks.
