The mBBS‑C1 Broadband Light Source is a third‑generation erbium‑doped fiber design that delivers 100 mW of amplified spontaneous emission across the extended C‑ and L‑bands. Designed for the MAP Series, it supports optical component measurements such as couplers, WDMs, isolators, and other passive devices. It is also used for noise loading in system experiments and for PMD measurements. The module provides a stable, high‑power ASE output ideal for transmission testing and optical characterization, making it a versatile tool for lab and manufacturing environments.
