Exabeam Data Leak
A data leak occurs when a malicious insider deliberately transfers sensitive information outside an organization. Although data movement is necessary for business operations, external access increases the risk of insiders exploiting privileged knowledge and access to critical assets. These actions often resemble normal user behavior, making detection difficult for security teams. Exabeam addresses this challenge by integrating data from sources such as DLP, email, applications, and endpoints, and applying user and entity behavior analytics to establish baselines of normal activity. It then detects anomalies using pre-packaged models, maps them to MITRE tactics and techniques, and incorporates findings into user risk scores alongside alerts. Smart Timelines and prioritization help analysts
