The Fortinet and RAD solution secures industrial control systems at Levels 0 and 1 by combining FortiGate and FortiSIEM with RAD SecFlow ruggedized Industrial IoT gateways. SecFlow provides resilient connectivity over wireless, fiber, copper, private, and public networks, along with IPsec VPNs, firewalling, encryption, zero-touch provisioning, serial protocol handling, and container-based edge computing. It can aggregate sensor data, convert legacy RTU protocols, support DNP3, Modbus, and IEC 104 traffic, host industrial applications, and reduce latency through local processing. Threat intelligence and event logs are shared with FortiSIEM for centralized correlation across OT devices and the wider Security Fabric.
