Synoptek’s Microsoft Teams Text App adds SMS and MMS to the Teams experience so users can text from their business Teams phone number while staying in a single interface. SMS capabilities include message history, a contacts library with Outlook Contacts integration, favorites, delete/forward, blocking, delivery status, broadcast texting with opt-in/opt-out, bot notifications, mobile and tablet responsiveness (iOS and Android), and HIPAA-aligned security. MMS adds emojis plus sending images and video, and supports group messaging up to 10 members. Optional enhancements include texting to Teams channels, an admin module for onboarding/offboarding, and integration with a spam SMS database.
