Spectro Cloud Palette complements Amazon EKS Hybrid Nodes by handling the on-premises infrastructure that customers must provision and operate under AWS’s bring-your-own-infrastructure model. EKS supplies the cloud-managed Kubernetes control plane, while Palette prepares VM and bare-metal hosts using its Edge image-building workflow with nodeadm, the operating system, and required dependencies. After boot, the Spectro Cloud edge agent automatically registers devices so they can join hybrid node pools. Administrators then manage upgrades, scaling, observability, and other Day 2 tasks from one interface.
