Rubrik Protection for Huawei FusionCompute extends native, image-level cyber resilience to FusionCompute virtual environments without per-VM agents or manual scripts. Registering a Virtual Resource Manager node enables automatic VM discovery, hierarchy-based inventory, and policy-driven SLA protection across multiple sites from Rubrik Security Cloud. Initial full snapshots are followed by Changed Block Tracking backups to improve speed and storage efficiency, with SLA inheritance supporting up to 5,000 VMs per VRM node. Security capabilities include Retention Lock, encryption, RBAC, replication, and archival. Recovery options range from individual files and folders to full VM export, file download, power-state control, and LiveMount for rapid restoration with minimal downtime.
