Catalogic DPX 4.12 introduces enhanced data protection features, including support for DataCore Swarm using the S3 protocol with full and incremental backups, full restore capabilities, and improved retention management for better control of data lifecycle. The release also improves security and usability with an upgraded encryption keystore for better secrets management and enables standard user accounts to perform backup and restore operations, supporting role-based access control. Additional GuardMode enhancements include scan persistence for historical visibility, automatic scan initiation for new snapshots, and the ability to cancel ongoing scans, providing greater control and streamlined security operations.
