This solution brief describes an integrated hardware and software platform for evaluating power amplifiers under realistic wideband load conditions. Combining a vector network analyzer, phase-coherent signal generation, modulation-distortion analysis, and arbitrary load control, the system measures gain, output power, EVM, ACPR, compression, efficiency, and ruggedness while varying impedance across the complete modulation bandwidth. Source correction and vector calibration remove systematic errors, while gamma can be defined as a point, phase trajectory, or custom SnP profile. Measured data can be visualized as load-pull contours in ADS to compare performance tradeoffs and optimize matching networks.
