Secure AI Native Architecture (SAINA): Building Trust for the AI Era
SAINA proposes a silicon-to-software security architecture for AI factories, where traditional firewalls and endpoint agents can create unacceptable bottlenecks across 400–800 Gbps GPU traffic and may be disabled to preserve performance. The design assumes the host OS can be compromised and moves security into NVIDIA BlueField DPUs, creating an electronic air gap while offloading networking, storage, and security processing. NVIDIA MIG isolates shared GPU resources, DOCA Argus performs agentless memory-level threat detection, Fortanix HSMs protect encryption keys and support crypto-shredding for storage, and confidential computing protects data while in use. TPM-based trust and signed software strengthen supply-chain integrity. PaletteAI serves as the management plane, letting platform eng
