The Future of Portability in Network Monitoring and Packet Capture
This white paper explores what truly makes a network TAP portable and effective for field troubleshooting and cybersecurity response. Traditional full-duplex TAPs provide accurate, line-rate capture but often require dual-interface computers, additional cables, interface bonding, and external power, limiting practical mobility.
