White Paper
The Role of the Endpoint in Zero Trust
This Samsung Knox white paper highlights the critical role of endpoints in Zero Trust security. Endpoints must continuously verify user and device context, protecting against credential theft, malware, and forged signals. Samsung Knox strengthens identity with password-less authentication, token binding, biometrics, and continuous authentication using facial recognition and behavior analysis. For device security, Knox enforces trusted boot, real-time kernel protection, health attestation, and hardware-backed IDs to prove integrity. It also enables fine-grained access controls, per-app network tunneling, and remediation such as wiping enterprise data. Together, Knox provides a trusted foundation for Zero Trust architectures.
