This case study describes how the City of Geel in Belgium improved performance monitoring across 46 locations and critical public services by deploying ExtraHop. With only seven IT staff managing complex legacy and cloud applications, Geel needed faster in-house diagnostic capabilities beyond fragmented logs and vendor support. ExtraHop provided real-time cross-tier visibility, wire-data analytics, and proactive alerts to pinpoint root causes quickly. As noted on page 3, the city was able to determine root causes twice as fast and resolve major issues such as 15-minute virtual desktop login delays caused by server, antivirus, and router interactions.
