SoundTalks developed an AI-powered system that analyzes sounds from pigs to detect potential respiratory disease early, but its original AWS infrastructure struggled to scale as data volumes and global adoption increased. Following an AWS Well-Architected Review, Cloudar migrated application containers to Amazon ECS and AWS Fargate, replacing manual scaling with a serverless architecture. Amazon SQS and Lambda enabled the platform to process bursts reaching 10,000 messages per second, while AWS Secrets Manager and improved network design strengthened security. The modernization produced more than a 1,000% performance improvement and reduced infrastructure costs by about 25%.
