Bishop Bewick Catholic Education Trust needed specialist legal support to expand to 39 schools between 2020 and 2022. Through Bloom’s management of the DfE-recommended NEPRO³ framework, the Trust ran a compliant mini-competition and appointed Muckle LLP, an experienced commercial law firm with extensive academy conversion expertise. Muckle advised on the full conversion process, including complex property arrangements, employee liabilities, commercial transfers, funding agreements, and land transfers.
