The Slovak Film Institute (SFÚ), Slovakia’s national organization for film preservation, archiving, and promotion, needed a more reliable and efficient storage solution to support its media production and archival workloads. Before implementing StarWind NVMe-oF Initiator, the institute operated a VMware ESXi environment connected to a Scale Logic-managed storage cluster built from systems supplied by two different vendors. This infrastructure presented challenges in maintaining consistent storage connectivity and performance for critical workloads.
