The Slovak Film Institute achieves reliable access to media production workloads by enabling shared NVMe storage connectivity
The Slovak Film Institute (SFÚ), Slovakia’s national organization for film preservation, archiving, and promotion, needed a more reliable and efficient storage solution to support its media production and archival workloads. Before implementing StarWind NVMe-oF Initiator, the institute operated a VMware ESXi environment connected to a Scale Logic-managed storage cluster built from systems supplied by two different vendors. This infrastructure presented challenges in maintaining consistent storage connectivity and performance for critical workloads. By deploying StarWind NVMe-oF Initiator, SFÚ enabled shared NVMe storage connectivity, providing faster, more reliable access to data and improving overall system performance. The solution enhanced storage efficiency, reduced operational complex
