The Elisava Racing Team, formed by students at ELISAVA Barcelona School of Design and Engineering, used Altair simulation tools to design high-performance electric off-road motorcycles for international competition. The team aimed to improve safety, comfort, and structural performance while reducing weight and supporting full electrification. Using Altair Inspire for topology optimization and HyperWorks for structural and composite analysis, students optimized the chassis, swingarm, subframe, and carbon-fiber handlebars. Additive manufacturing constraints were considered early to minimize residual stresses and support structures.
