This report analyzes how 620 global organizations manage access risk and compliance as core business functions move to the cloud. It reveals that while HR and CRM are largely cloud-mature, critical functions like procurement and supply chain remain in transition, increasing governance complexity. A major finding is that over 70% of organizations lack automation in key access governance processes such as provisioning, access reviews, and risk analysis, significantly increasing exposure to violations and insider threats. Additionally, more than half fail to revoke access within 24 hours after termination. Governance gaps are widespread, with 52% not embedding GRC controls early in migration and 40% of organizations linking security incidents directly to these gaps. The report concludes that
