The FTH‑9000 Adaptive Fiber Test Head is a rack‑mounted component of the ONMSi Remote Fiber Test System designed for construction, service activation, monitoring, and assurance of core, metro, and access networks. A single high‑resolution OTDR inside the FTH‑9000 can test one critical link or scale to thousands using optical switches as the network expands. It supports testing of both dark and active fibers without disrupting traffic. When a fault occurs, ONMSi or the standalone FTH pinpoints the issue and reports its GPS location within minutes, providing fast, accurate diagnostics for evolving fiber infrastructures.
