VIAVI’s infrared long wavepass filters deliver high transmission from the cut‑on wavelength to roughly twice that value and can be deposited on a wide range of infrared‑transmitting substrates. Cut‑on wavelengths can be positioned anywhere up to about 16 µm. These filters feature excellent coating uniformity, tight tolerances, flat spectral profiles, high peak transmission, and strong blocking performance. Designed for infrared sensing and imaging instrumentation, they support high‑volume production and offer expert engineering assistance. Available substrates include Si, Ge, glass, sapphire, quartz, fused silica, ZnS, and others.
