This solution brief describes Keysight Open RAN Studio for testing and validating 5G and LTE O-RAN radio units using the 7.2 split fronthaul interface. The platform emulates an O-DU, builds O-RAN CUSM-plane test vectors, plays traffic, captures bidirectional data, decodes protocols, and extracts IQ information for RF analysis. Builder, Player, Capture, Explorer, IQ Extractor, and Fronthaul Analytics work with PathWave signal generation, 89600 VSA, signal generators, analyzers, and specialized hardware supporting 10, 25, 50, or 100 GbE. The solution covers FR1, FR2, uplink, downlink, beamforming, timing, synchronization, compression, multi-carrier operation, manufacturing tests, and automated O-RU conformance workflows.
