The VIAVI Xgig U.2‑CEM 4‑lane Interposer supports PCIe 4.0 data rates up to 16 GT/s and link widths up to four lanes, while maintaining backward compatibility with PCIe Gen1–3 speeds. It features a top‑edge 16‑lane CEM slot connector for endpoint adapter cards and a bottom‑edge 4‑lane PCB finger that fits into 4‑, 8‑, or 16‑lane host PCIe slots. High‑speed linear redrivers ensure clean signal capture with minimal tuning, and two custom SFF‑8674‑equivalent cables support analyzer connection and side‑band triggering. With independent power via an external 12V/3A supply, it offers stable operation for reliable PCIe protocol analysis.
