Asahi General Hospital modernized its clinical IT environment with Omnissa Horizon, Workspace ONE, and Professional Services alongside its electronic medical record renewal. The hospital needed to address shared-device shortages, labor-intensive iOS management, fragmented systems, and the need for uninterrupted 24/7 operations. Horizon introduced VDI so staff can resume sessions from different devices, improving device utilization and access to patient information. Workspace ONE centralized management of more than 1,000 iOS devices, reducing per-device setup from about one hour to roughly 30 minutes while simplifying app distribution and updates.
