Dunaway replaced an unstable Citrix VDI environment with Omnissa Horizon after recurring downtime, slow VM launches, profile corruption, and troubleshooting disrupted engineering work and billable hours. After a proof of concept with 20 engineers, the firm completed its migration in 10 weeks, running both environments side by side to minimize disruption. Horizon reduced average VM launch time from about 50 seconds to 12 seconds and improved VM creation by roughly 25%.
