Psicontrol accelerated development of a customizable electronic control platform by adopting Altair’s electronic design simulation tools. PCB development typically required up to 10 weeks due to complex constraints involving signal integrity, EMC, thermal behavior, and manufacturability. Using Altair Feko and PollEx, Psicontrol virtually validated antenna placement, EMC radiation, signal quality, and PCB stackups early in the design process. Integrated optimization workflows allowed engineers to evaluate multiple variants before prototyping. As a result, development time was reduced to six weeks, physical iterations were minimized, and Psicontrol achieved its goal of delivering a first-time-right PCB design with greater confidence and reduced risk.
