Energy Server With Heat Capture: Power & Cooling
This datasheet presents the Bloom Energy Server with Heat Capture for combined power and cooling applications. Its solid oxide fuel cells generate electricity while capturing high-grade exhaust heat and converting it to chilled water through absorption chillers, making the system suitable for data centers, industrial facilities, and commercial sites. In a Combined Cooling, Heat, and Power configuration, Bloom states the system can improve PUE by 10–20% while reducing dependence on grid electricity, mechanical chillers, refrigerants, and redundant infrastructure. A 1.3 MW platform provides 228 tons of cooling at 7°C/12°C conditions or 260 tons at 18°C/28°C, with larger systems scalable to 41.6 MW.
