Energy Server SOFC System with Integrated Heat Capture
This datasheet describes Bloom’s Energy Server SOFC system with integrated heat capture, a factory-packaged cogeneration solution that simultaneously produces electricity and hot water. The fuel-flexible system operates on natural gas and can also support biogas, hydrogen, or blended fuels. Its 325 kW building blocks can be ground-mounted or stacked and scaled to hundreds of megawatts. The heat exchanger captures high-temperature exhaust from the SOFC system to deliver approximately 2,777 kg/hr of hot water per 325 kW system. Cumulative electrical efficiency ranges from 65% to 53%, average thermal efficiency is 28.5%, and total efficiency is stated at 82.5%. The solution is designed to improve energy utilization, lower utility costs, reduce emissions, and provide resilient onsite power and
