It can simulate static waypoints and dynamic routes for avionics testing, and it allows seamless upload of daily Almanac data to ensure quick GPS receiver position lock. The simulator controller may be used with or without the VIAVI GPS coupler, offering flexibility for direct connections or existing setups. It is fully self‑contained, featuring an on‑screen battery indicator, real‑time clock, and the ability to store, recall, and simulate up to 20 static waypoints and 20 dynamic routes, with automated Almanac support.
