DC Board of Elections Drives Voter Action with Transit Media and Location-Based Mobile Retargeting
This case study explains how the DC Board of Elections used physical and mobile advertising to raise awareness of an upcoming election and encourage voter registration among commuters. Rail and bus placements were positioned in high-traffic locations to deliver essential registration information at scale. A location-specific mobile strategy retargeted consumers after they encountered the physical ads, reinforcing the message during their daily journeys. A dynamic landing page provided directions, click-to-call access, and a direct link to the election website. The campaign generated 248,164 mobile impressions, and 7.9% of consumers completed a secondary action.
