Santa Clara County Increases Voter Registration Engagement with Integrated Out-of-Home and Mobile Advertising
This case study describes how the County of Santa Clara Registrar of Voters promoted safe voting and registration options for the 2020 presidential election. OUTFRONT combined bulletins, posters, digital displays, bus kings, and bus tail advertising to generate broad reach and repeated exposure. Proximity and audience targeting reinforced the physical campaign through mobile messaging, while a dynamic landing page offered branding, directions, click-to-call functionality, and links to additional voting information. The campaign delivered 1,377,286 impressions and a 4.00% secondary-action rate. This represented a 132% lift over the mobile-only benchmark, demonstrating how coordinated physical and mobile media can increase engagement with important public-service information.
