Depop Strengthens Brand Awareness and Purchase Intent with an Immersive New York Campaign
This case study explains how Depop measured the impact of a four-week, multi-format OUTFRONT campaign across New York City. Liveboards, LinkNYC kiosks, wildposters, and a Delancey-Essex station domination were used to build awareness of the online fashion marketplace. Independent research by MFour found a 67% lift in unaided brand awareness and a 64% lift in aided awareness among exposed audiences. Ad awareness increased by 67% unaided and 91% aided, while 60% recalled the advertising, exceeding the benchmark of 41%. Ad recognizers also recorded a 44% lift in brand opinion, 30% in consideration, 34% in intent to buy or sell, and a 28-point increase in Net Promoter Score, showing strong effects across awareness, perception, and action.
