Bloom Energy Server Biogas Specification
This specification defines the cleaned biogas quality required for proper contracting and operation of the Bloom Energy Server. It establishes limits for hydrocarbon composition, sulfur species, contaminants, trace components, gas pressure, moisture, and allowable transients. Methane must be at least 50 mol%, while ethylene, ethane, propylene, propane, butanes, and C5+ hydrocarbons are each limited to 0.1 mol%. Total sulfur is capped at 2,000 ppbV, with separate limits for hydrogen sulfide, carbonyl sulfide, mercaptans, thiophenes, and other sulfur compounds. It also sets limits for siloxanes, arsenic, halogens, mercury, cadmium, zinc, ammonia, phosphorus, and sodium, while specifying a gas pressure range of 14–18 psig and defined moisture requirements.
