This datasheet describes Bloom Energy’s Hydrogen Fuel Cell, a combustion-free distributed power system that uses pure hydrogen to deliver continuous, emission-free electricity. Built on Bloom’s solid oxide platform, it is positioned as a resilient, predictable, and sustainable source of 24/7 on-site power with no carbon emissions, air pollutants, or water use during normal operation. Each system provides 300 kW of net AC output at 480 V, three-phase, 60 Hz and requires hydrogen with a minimum purity of 99.90%. Beginning-of-life electrical efficiency is 52%, with hydrogen consumption of 17.3 kg per hour. The outdoor system operates from -20°C to 45°C, produces less than 70 dBA at six feet, and can be remotely monitored and managed by Bloom Energy.
