N5992MM6E Receiver Debug Tool for MIPI M-PHY 6: Frame and Pattern Generation through HS-GEAR6
This datasheet describes the Keysight N5992MM6E Receiver Debug Tool for validating and troubleshooting MIPI M-PHY 6.0 receivers with M8040A and M8050A BERT systems. Its graphical interface generates custom M-PHY packet sequences, UniPro 3.0 frames, NRZ patterns through HS-GEAR5 at approximately 23.5 Gbps, PAM4 patterns through HS-GEAR6 at approximately 47 Gbps, and low-speed PWM traffic. Engineers can control PREPARE, STALL, ADAPT, differential voltage, common-mode voltage, and other high- and low-speed timing parameters. The software supports link transitions from PWM G1 or HS G1A through HS G6B and identifies the required 32, 64, or 120 GBaud BERT capability for different A- and B-series gear combinations and reference-clock configurations.
