CalFresh Awareness Campaign Delivers 163,779 Mobile Impressions
CalFresh combined out-of-home advertising and mobile proximity targeting to promote CalFresh Awareness Month among Oakland residents. Four posters were placed near busy roads and popular local touchpoints, while a five-mile geofence reinforced the campaign on nearby phones. English- and Spanish-language creative appeared in several banner sizes to reach a broader audience with clear program information. Each mobile ad linked to a website explaining eligibility, benefits, and how qualified households could apply for help accessing healthy food. The campaign delivered 163,779 mobile impressions, generated 299 clicks, and achieved a 0.18% click-through rate. The coordinated approach extended awareness beyond the posters and directed residents to practical application resources.
